Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Carroll County Commissioners proclaims March, 2012, as Developmental Disabilities Month.

Carroll Hills and other related organizations celebrated Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, with this year's theme,"Our Community is Better Together." Carroll Hills Program recognized those that have supported our program in the past 12 months to help people with disabilities succeed in our community. The support of these individuals, businesses and organizations come in many forms. This support could come from volunteering for Carroll Hills Special Olympics to someone offering a job to one of our enrollees. The types of support are as varied as the needs of the people Carroll Hills serves every day.
