The Job Exploration and Training program (JET) focuses on introducing individuals with developmental disabilities to a variety of jobs within our community by providing hands on experience performing skills required by employers in a variety of work settings, as well as instructional guidance in acquiring the social skills necessary to acquire and maintain community employment.

The JET program consisted of 5-6 hours of paid job training and exploration in a community based business and a 6 hour instructional period during 2 scheduled days per week (9:00-3:00) over a 5 week summer period. Those first to participate in this program include from the school Michael Martin, Samantha Lee, Mitchell Imhoff, Alyssa Woodworth and from adult services Logan Smith, Greg DeLong, Samantha Bennet, and Becky Easterday.
