Carroll Hills Council is a parent/ professional organization that functions similar to a PTO or booster club in public schools. The main difference is the Council helps meet the needs of both children and adults served by the Carroll County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The Council raises money through dues, donations, and fundraisers.
A few of the fundraisers include a pancake breakfast, craft show, Minerva Home Coming - Civic Club Lion Burgers stand and
our very own cookbook sales. Some of the areas Council monies help fund include field trips, dances,
and equipment for the school, workshop and the Carroll Hills Cougars Special Olympics teams. The Council
also helps fund Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, levy campaigns and
many other needs that arise. Carroll Hills Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each

We still have Carroll Hills Cookbook, The Better Cooking with Carroll Hills Recipes, for sale. This cookbook is compiled of recipes from families, friends, and staff members of Carroll Hills.
